What I miss most about being a teen at a show was knowing that there was no place in the world I'd rather be. |

Spring, spring! Bytuene Mershe ant Averil, when spray biginneth to spring! When shaws be sheene and swards full fayre, and leaves both large and longe! When the hounds of spring are on winter’s traces, in the spring time, the only pretty ring time, when the birds do sing, hey-ding-a-ding ding, cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-wee, ta-witta-woo! And so on and so on and so on. See almost any poet between the Bronze Age and 1805. |

after much sadness, despair, bitterness, and hopelessness, I have finally found meaning in and definition for my life: really big sandwiches. |

It figures that as soon as 10,000 people I can party with, the Northern California Chapter of Narcotics Anonymous, show up in town, I leave. Oh well. |

I just finished reading The Catcher in the Rye for the first time. That goddam book is kind of messing with the way I talk and think. It really is. The hell of it is, I identified with the crumb-bum. I really did. But, unlike all the corny 14 year olds who are reading this book for the first time and think that he's a real hot-shot, I knew that it really just means that I'm an asshole. It killed me to think of that, you know, to realize that that's just what he would have thought to make himself feel like he's better than all the other phoneys out there. It also made me sort of depressed. I don't know why, but it really did. |

I think I'm not going to buy furniture. I'm just going to spend my money on building the gnarliest HO scale slot car track ever seen. It will hopefully include the wallride section and the upside down jump. |

A guy on the radio today said that Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin were both born on February 12, 1809. He went on to call Charles Darwin the real Great Emancipator. Hurrah! |
